One commonly used expression regarding the current COVID pandemic is herd immunity. People are obsessed with reaching herd immunity as soon as possible so that we can put this pandemic to bed. It is hoped that the development of a vaccine will get us the herd immunity of 60-80% far quicker than waiting to reach it through natural infections. But my guest today is convinced her modeling puts the actual immunity threshold at only 10-20% meaning we may already be there in some cities and countries.
