Show Notes
Have you ever known someone who lashes out a lot, pushes buttons, is overly critical, and sometimes downright mean? If you do, there is a good change that those behaviors are a form of protection, rather than an indicator that they are not a good person at heart.
It does mean you need to condone the behaviors, however.
Unfortunately, the behaviors generally hurt the person who lashes out and the people closest to them, plus, it severs connection, leaving the person in the place they unconsciously fear most - alone.
