In the first conflict of the year in Charleston County South Carolina, lines are being drawn and people are angry on all sides.Larry Kobrovsky, a member of the 5-4 Republican Majority of Charleston County Council, joined the Democrat minority in electing Kylon Middleton (D) to the chairman position. In return, the Democrat minority members voted Kobrovsky into the Vice-Chairmanship.This move has raised the eyebrows of numerous factions within the Republican party in Charleston, SC while others have lauded him for putting the county above partisan politics.I sat down to speak with Larry Kobrovsky about his decision, and why he made it, in a long form interview.The fact of the matter is, nobody in this entire state, much less in the county of Charleston, gives elected officials the ability to have legitimate, long form discussions except US at The Overton Report.Anyone can make click bait, anyone can misrepresent elected officials by using 2 sentences out of context, but that is not what we do here.I look forward to the other members of Charleston County Council coming and doing similar long form discussions with me in the VERY near future. This is one you don’t want to miss…seriously.A Charleston, SC based group called We Are Family, has made it their mission to create “camps” for minors based entirely on the so-called “sexual preferences” OF those minors. We Are Family has held “queer proms” along with “Youth Fests” at various pride events specifically meant for children. What’s worse, they have also created a system of daycare/events for what they call “lgbtqia2+ children” aged 10 and under. We call this grooming, and we are unapologetic in that assessment. Defining and dividing children based upon sexual preference is inherently perverse. A 6 year old can NOT be a part of the “lgbtqia2+ community” but you know who can CONVINCE a 6 year old that he or she is a part of that community? The adults around that child whom that child (unfortunately & mistakenly) trusts. On top of this, many local businesses have donated to this group, We Are Family, Charleston, for the singular purpose of giving money to minors for sex changing hormones/sterilization drugs via a program the group calls the “trans love fund.” Do these businesses, which include Joye Law Firm, Condon Family Law, D'Allesandro's Pizza, a pole dancing company, and a far left group of teachers out of South Carolina that call themselves the Transformative Teaching Collective. With us reaching more and more people over the past year, mixed with the fact that the original Overton Report Facebook page, the platform on which we began this incredible journey, was deleted without warning about a year ago, we thought it was time to let our new followers know how this all started and remind everyone else. This podcast gives a brief description of what started it all. In Beaufort, SC, Ron DeSantis was scheduled to speak at Beaufort Academy. That is, until a crazed leftist whose main focus is demanding porn be allowed and encouraged in elementary schools got wind of it, and led a charge to force the school to back out of the arrangement. This reportedly cost the school upwards of $6,000 and led to the presidential candidate moving the event to a much smaller venue. The media played defense for the activists, of course. A group that has apparently been holding backroom secret meetings for some time of unchosen, self appointed, unelected individuals who have God complexes approaching the heights of radical Muslim Imams in Afghanistan or Iran. This group has done so well in taking the energy and willingness of so many good people in our state to help save our nation, and guiding that energy into chaos, destruction, vitriol and ineffectiveness. And I have stood by for years and watched it happen. It is important for me to reiterate that the LEADERSHIP of this group is entirely separate from the rank & file members. Just like the majority of Russian citizens were good people, but Stalin & his “leadership council” (as Harrison Musselwhite himself describes such a group) were manipulative, relentless and willing to do ANYTHING to gain and retain power. This similarity between this historical truth and the current situation with MySCGOP is almost undeniable at this point. The propensity to “cancel” those who step out of line, and metaphorically “disappearing” those who were “good members” but disagreed on a single, simple item, causing that individual (i.e. Zoe Warren) to instantly become “persona non grata.” What’s worse; ANYONE who associates with that newly deemed “traitor” who questioned the motive or actions of anyone in the “inner circle” have also found themselves isolated and alienated from this group who they once called friends and colleagues.We saw the same thing 2 years ago when Lin Wood went from MySCGOP’s “golden calf” to their whipping boy within weeks of the last SCGOP state convention, after he lost that race to McKissick. It’s not new, but, since Wood had a national profile and was from Georgia, with no roots in SC, it was much easier to write him off at the time. The failures were placed on his shoulders, and the misleading continued.This is a dangerous way to run a political group. They say that power corrupts. The national MSM has picked up a story recently about an entire small-town police force (along with other town employees) resigning their positions after the new town manager, Justine Jones, made performing their jobs impossible. Of course, the leftist media jumped RIGHT onto the racial component of this story, without any reason. The Chief of Kenly, NC Police is white, and the town manager is a black lady.This podcast discusses the quickness with which the left screams “RACISM!!” despite all evidence to the contrary. We also discuss Justine Jones’s past tenure at Richland County, South Carolina that was marked by corruption. From making false claims of racial and gender discrimination (according to the EEOC), to having friends on the county council giving her illegal raises, illegal access to their offices, illegal benefits, and more.This entire charade at Richland County ended with a settlement of $175,000 taxpayer dollars being placed directly into the pocket of Miss Jones, because her friends (and potential witnesses in a frivolous lawsuit brought against the county) refused to recuse themselves from the executive sessions held to discuss defense in the tort claim.
