In Part 3 of our dive into the Utah Ritualistic Abuse Scandal, we break down the disturbing charges against David Lee Hamblin, the former Utah therapist charged with multiple counts of child SA dating back to the '90s. We’ll revisit his 2012 arrest, how those charges were dropped, and the new alleged survivors who came forward in 2022, leading to his re-arrest.
Footnote: Regarding the "in-person" pre-trial hearing and "Zoom" status hearing scheduled for February 19th, we initially speculated that the pre-trial hearing might be brief, given that the status hearing in a different jurisdiction is set for just 30 minutes later over Zoom. However, it’s possible the defendant may not be required to attend the Zoom hearing, meaning the duration of the pre-trial hearing could be longer and will likely last as long as necessary.
