Part 1 starts off in the Northeast and Great lakes region, Brett interviews author and award winning free-lance writer Tom Keer to discuss NE hunting, game bird habitat and feeding, shotguns and shells, shooting techniques, and tips for a successful hunt in NE.

Tom Keer is an award-winning writer, columnist and blogger who lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He writes regularly for over a dozen outdoor magazines some of them being Covey Rise, the Upland Almanac, Sporting Classics, Gray’s Sporting Journal, the Bird Hunting Report, the Ruffed Grouse Society, Fly Fisherman, Fly Rod and Reel, and Fly Fishing in Saltwaters.
