This week Sam is back with Dr. G. Peter Maiers II, a sports medicine specialist with a specialty in hip and knee injuries. As head team physician for the Indianapolis Colts, Dr. Maiers utilizes the same methods and techniques developed for athletes to treat those who are injured at home, at play or in the workplace. He is actively performing research on the arthroscopic treatment of hip impingement and arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. For part two they will discuss Dr. Maiers' clinical experience with different hip conditions and how they are managed.
