To make matters worse, Darren raises doubts about whether or not Kiera and Mitch even have the sanctity of their own memories to rely on, and mockingly hints that he and Kiera have some kind of past together. Shaken by their disturbing encounter, both operatives try to make sense of the missing threads of memory that torment them as the Congregation of the Gentle Hand makes ready for its tent revival. Episode 1: The Shudder Part I

E

In this, our inaugural episode, we travel to 1969, as three operatives of the mysterious organization known as ORPHEUS are tasked with infiltrating a new age cult. A sudden additional assignment to gather information on a local folk myth leaves doubts as to whether all is as it seems with the mission, the cult, or the operatives themselves... Music Credits: Three Chain Links - Demons Josh Woodward - 20/20 (Instrumental) Kai Engel - Sopor Kevin Macleod - Blackbird Josh Woodward - The Raven and the Swan Opening and Closing Themes by Nathan Kross and Rob Stith Director's Note: This was the first time two of the three operatives had ever played The ORPHEUS Protocol, and thus involved a lot of learning at the table. I've elected to leave a lot of that table talk in, to help the listener grasp the basics of the system. Though there will always be table talk, it will become somewhat less prevalent in later episodes.
