Show Notes
When we return to a moment that felt bad and add connection and emotional safety, we actually change the memory in the body. - Dr. Becky Kennedy
… and this is the power of repair. The power to change the memory in the body by adding connection and emotional safety.
I know too many parents who feel like they are failing their kids.
They feel like:
* They yell too much
* They lose their temper too much
* They are sarcastic when they could have been kind
* They correct when they could have connected
* They pickup their phone instead of engaging with their kids
It feels awful to tell yourself that you’re failing as a parent. No one wants to feel like a failure and yet, we often do feel this way as parents.
What can we do?
Two simple things:
Learn how to feel successful as a parent
Learn how to repair
If you want to be successful as a parent and learn how to turn those parenting failures into parenting wins this episode is for you!
