Show Notes

What exactly is your goal in going to the gym? If your ultimate goal is optimizing your body, you’re not going to a gym to lift weights and use machines. Lifting weights, the movements, and the machines help you do what you must do, but your goal is really to target specific muscle groups. Our body does not want to change; it wants to be efficient. So we have to put it in a situation where it has no choice but to adapt.

Welcome to a bonus episode in our training series. Pay close attention because this topic definitely gives you some practical advantages.

“Changing your body is hard, it's difficult, especially building muscle. Dropping fat is a lot easier than building muscle. It happens a lot quicker; it's easier to do. Building muscle is far more difficult, far more challenging.”

– Andy Naylor
