COVID-19 and the Indisputable Health and Safety Implications for Corporate Security Teams

The corporate security audience is no stranger to troubling news. While this episode is no exception, it shares critical safety and health information for security teams to know as we emerge from one of the most deadly pandemics. In this episode, Fred speaks with Dr. Jim Kornberg, a true occupational and environmental medicine expert in every sense of the word. He shares his reflections from the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including areas that were heavily impacted and overlooked. Jim also shares the changes that the pandemic has brought to corporate security and executive protection, and new countermeasures that teams can enforce. Lastly, he shares tips on how to sanitize executives’ physical space, as well as other biohazards to be aware of. Dr. Jim Kornberg is board-certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine under the American Board of Preventive Medicine and is a fellow in the American College of Preventive Medicine. For the past 25 years, Dr. Kornberg has successfully developed and operated a multi-disciplinary environmental engineering and medical consulting firm. He has authored many articles, research publications, and books — including his latest book, Bite the Hand That Feeds You.
