How did we miss the warning signs of another school shooting?

Today On Deadline is again looking at the problem of senseless mass shootings in the United States and asking what we can – and should – do to stop it. Last Wednesday, before most schools in the country had even been open for a full week, a gunman entered Apalachee High School in Georgia and began opening fire, claiming the lives of four and leaving nine others hospitalized. As the school shooting death toll in the U.S. continues to rise, most of us can agree thoughts and prayers aren’t going to cut it anymore.
