Legal experts say Donald Trump is testing the 14th Amendment in new ways by running to become the next GOP nominee for president. The amendment says a person who has taken an oath to obey the Constitution while serving as an elected official and then participated in an insurrection or rebellion against the U.S., is barred from holding federal office.
