This episode was rated some pretty high scalpels. We have a spooky Halloween episode that is perfectly done. There is no ears boy, phantom foot man, and Norman. People are chainsawing off their feet and trick-or-treating for ears. It is spooktastic.
Above all of that, we have Meredith carrying around her Mother's ashes in a Ziploc bag. It is just weird enough to fit perfectly into a Halloween special. She ends up dropping some of her on the hospital floor, where Derek McDreamy eye's her. It isn't until the last scence that Meredith puts her Mother to rest, in the perfect place, alongside exactly who Ellis would have wanted there.
Other than that, we have George and Izzie working through their first day together as a couple. At the beginning of the day Callie announces they have been sleeping together, so now the whole hospital knows. It is incredibly awkward.
AVA IS BACK and Karev is making out with her behind a curatin. She is the worst.
HAHN IS HERE! She is telling off Cristina in the hallway. She is the worst.
