Your two favorite hosts welcome Dr. David Baillargeon from the University of Texas at Arlington to discuss the importance and impact of the British Empire. Dr. Baillargeon focuses on what can be seen and studied with regards to British action in Myanmar (or Burma) and Malaysia. The three do a deep dive in what made the Burmese and Malay experience unique but also, the esteemed professor also highlights the commonalities that can be seen in nearly all colonizing experiences.
