Show Notes
Sometimes I need to get back to my Musical Roots and that means, CLASSICAL MUSIC BABY!!!!
I absolutely LOVE this number by the Russia Composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. He was inspired to write this excellent piece of music by reading the "Arabian Knight Stories", you know Sinbad, yeah those stories.
Scheherazade is the name of a young princess who was a story teller and the King had a habit of killing storytellers when they finished the stories. Scheherazade would never end a story and would infuse one story into the next so nothing ever ended. The King, meanwhile fell in love with her and married her, so the story goes. This piece of work was made into a fantastic ballet to express the story.
Enjoy the Music, I know it's not for everyone but you never know until you taste it.
Later Gators!!!
