Juventus signed off for the 2021-22 season with a we’re-on-the-beach kind of performance against Fiorentina this past weekend, but the real memorable moments came last Monday night at Allianz Stadium — for good and for bad. In what could have been some sort of salvation for an overall disappointing 2021-22 season, Juventus — and its manager — left a lot to be desired in falling to arch-rival Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia final. In a season full of sub-par performances, Juventus put forth one of the most sub-par of them all, dropping points against a Bologna side that has been absolutely dismal away from home in 2022.
