Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, step outside right now and soak in that sunshine. High pressure is sliding in behind last night's cold front, giving us one gorgeous February day. but here's the twist. It's a farewell performance. In the next 24 hours. Down in Cincinnati, you're looking at 62 degrees. Sixty two! That kind of warmth makes you forget what month it's. Columbus reaches 55 degrees with brilliant blue overhead. Now drive north on 71 toward Cleveland. and watch the thermometer drop. Akron and Cleveland top out around 42 degrees under partly sunny skies. That's a 20 degrees spread from one end of the state to the other. Enjoy every minute of it. Because tonight, a weak disturbance sneaks in from the northeast and flips the script. Central and southwest Ohio see rain developing after 11 P.M., mixing with a little snow toward dawn. Northeast Ohio? All snow, likely between 7 P.M. and 5 A.M. Accumulations stay under an inch, but it's enough to remind you winter still has a pulse. Sunday morning is the real gut punch. Temperatures crash into the 20s statewide. Cleveland wakes up feeling like 16 degrees. Columbus feels like 25. That's a 30 degrees nosedive from this afternoon. Your Saturday t shirt becomes Sunday's parka. Looking ahead. Monday stays chilly. Then Tuesday. Gulf moisture surges north and everything changes. Rain moves in and sticks around through Friday. Temperatures climb into the 60s by Thursday. Some spots could flirt with 70 degrees next weekend. Winter goes quiet. and spring starts knocking louder. One more thing worth smiling about. We're gaining over two and a half minutes of daylight every single day now. The equinox is just 20 days out. I'll be tracking that Tuesday pattern shift all weekend. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Stay safe, stay prepared. and enjoy the day.
