Show Notes

Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, if you stepped outside today and thought something felt off. That's because Ohio just handed us 58 degrees in late February. High pressure parked overhead like it forgot what month it's. Enjoy the feeling. A cold front is already knocking on the back door. In the next 24 hours. Cincinnati grabbed the spotlight today at 61 degrees. Columbus hit 57. Up along the lake. Cleveland stayed cooler at 52 with gusty southwest winds near 10 miles an hour. Classic Lake Erie keeping things honest. Tonight stays surprisingly mild. Lows settle around 42 in the southwest, 40 in Columbus, 38 up in the northeast. That approaching front is bone dry, so most of us stay rain free. Cleveland is the exception. Gusts could hit 30 miles an hour overnight. and a quick rain shower is possible around 1 A.M. Near the lake. Nothing major. Saturday is where the plot thickens. The front sweeps through by midday. Cincinnati still reaches 62. Columbus manages 56. but Cleveland? Only 43 as northerly air takes over. Then Saturday night. Winter remembers its name. Snow develops across northeast Ohio after 7 P.M. About an inch expected. Central Ohio gets a rain and snow mix late. Lows crash into the 20s and 30s statewide. Sunday morning in Cleveland tops out at just 30 degrees. That spring preview? Gone. Looking ahead. Monday stays cool with scattered rain and snow. Then Tuesday through Thursday, temperatures rocket back into the 50s and 60s. The catch? Rain tags along every day, with a slight thunderstorm chance by midweek. Ohio's weather doing what it does best. Keeping you guessing. Tonight's perfect for leaving those windows cracked one last time. Your furnace will be earning its keep again by Sunday. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Stay safe, stay prepared. and enjoy the day.
