From High Tech to Full-Time Investor in Six Months with Dear Ngo

Most real estate investors plan for the day that they can devote 100% of their time to real estate as a full-time investor. Most people will take time to plan out their exit from the workforce and plan to leave once they've replaced their salary. Few quit cold turkey to chase their dreams. But our guest on this episode, Dear Ngo, did just that in six months from the time that she read Rich Dad Poor Dad. Dear shares her journey as a newbie real estate investor and what drove her to dive into the deep end.

Dear is the Founder of Remray Equity, and is a syndicator out of Southern California, investing out of state. She primarily has focused on multifamily but is placing a large focus on her strategy to MHP and RV parks for 2024. She quit her job at the end of 2022 to pursue real estate investing full-time and has since been involved as a passive and active investor with 1000+ doors in multifamily. Before becoming a full-time investor, she worked two decades in tech as a software engineer and managing cross-functional teams and has a degree in computer science. When not discussing real estate, she loves to adventure travel and travel hack (a.k.a travel for free!).
