North Carolina faces elevated fire danger this weekend as dry conditions combine with gusty winds across much of the state. Multiple Special Weather Statements are in effect, warning of rapid wildfire spread potential through Sunday afternoon. Starting this Saturday morning at 36 degrees, we'll see temperatures climbing steadily through the day.
