Highs today reach 75 to 76 degrees statewide under mostly sunny skies. The Piedmont and Triangle both hit the mid 70s with a gentle southwest breeze. Head west to the mountains and you'll find partly sunny skies with the same 75 degrees high, though tonight's low dips to 49 degrees. That's cooler than the Piedmont's 55. Tonight brings a full moon. It's a perfect evening to be outside. And you'll not even need a heavy jacket. Tomorrow morning, watch for patchy fog between 7 and 9 A.M., especially in the Triangle area. It burns off quickly.
