Your midday North Carolina weather update
Fire weather concerns take center stage across North Carolina today, with multiple Special Weather Statements warning of increased wildfire risk, particularly across interior eastern and northeastern portions of the state. This morning starts mild with temperatures around 61 degrees at 7 A.M. Southwest winds will stay steady near 8 miles per hour throughout the day as we warm quickly into the upper 70s by late morning.
