A classic North Carolina spring pattern settles in today with temperatures climbing from the cool 50s this morning into the upper 70s by afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Right now at 52 degrees, you'll want that light jacket for the morning commute, but you won't need it long. Temperatures will climb steadily through the morning hours, reaching the mid-60s by 10 A.M.
