Your morning North Carolina weather update
Frost and freeze alerts are in effect across much of North Carolina this morning, with temperatures dropping as low as 31 degrees in some areas. These conditions pose a real threat to sensitive vegetation and outdoor plumbing. Right now at 6 A.M., we're sitting at 36 degrees, but the coldest air settles in around 7 A.M.
