Your morning Northern California weather update
Frost advisories are blanketing Northern California this Saturday morning, with temperatures dropping to near freezing in many inland valleys. These cold conditions are affecting agricultural areas from the Sacramento Valley down through the San Joaquin Valley, where growers need to protect sensitive crops and irrigation systems. This morning started chilly with temperatures bottoming out around 51 degrees in urban areas by 5 A.M., but rural valleys saw readings closer to 32 degrees.
