The Texas Pardons Board is looking into the case of Daniel Perry. Perry, who is white, was recently found guilty of the murder of a white protestor at a BLM action in Austin. Perry is an Army Sgt. and was working as an Uber driver when the incident occurred. Texas Governor Greg Abbott called for the Pardons Board to investigate whether self-defense was involved.
