“Happy” the elephant has been a crowd favorite at the Bronx Zoo since 1977. She was happy and so were the kids that came see her. Until, that is, a silly group filed a lawsuit in New York to get Happy declared the rights of a human. That waste of money, time and energy came to an end this week as the Supreme Court ruled with truth, logic and common sense.
