For this week's main podcast review, I am joined by Josh Parham & Dan Bayer. This week we're reviewing Darren Aronofsky's latest film, "The Whale," starring Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Hong Chau, Samantha Morton & Ty Simpkins. Based on the stage play by Samuel D. Hunter (who is adapting his play for the screen), the film is a dark drama following a 600 lbs character who doesn't have much time left due to his obesity health issues and is trying to re-connect with his estranged teenage daughter and make amends. What did we think of the performances, writing, makeup, and direction from Aronofsky? Please tune in below to hear our thoughts and feelings on how we think it will perform at the Oscars.
