"Tornado" is the latest film from director John Maclean, who previously directed "Slow West" a decade ago. The western film follows Tornado (Kōki), a young woman who vows to seek vengeance for her father against a notorious gang and forge her own destiny by stealing their ill-gotten gold. The film additionally stars Tim Roth, Jack Lowden, Takehiro Hira, and Joanne Whalley and received positive reviews after its world premiere at the 2025 Glasgow Film Festival. Lowden was kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about his experience making the film, which you can listen to below!
