Today we're talking about the massive number of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Thousands of them have been children arriving without their parents.
First, we'll get a close-up look at the conditions migrant children are facing from CBS News correspondent Mireya Villarreal. She was one of the first reporters allowed inside the detention facility in Donna, Texas, in late March, when the overcrowding was at its peak.
Then, we talk with Theresa Cardinal Brown. She's the director of immigration and cross-border policy at the Bipartisan Policy Center. She's also worked at the Department of Homeland Security and Customs and Border Protection under both Republican and Democratic presidents.
