Show Notes

Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the New Hampshire Weather Podcast. It's Tuesday, February 24th. Folks, the nor'easter packed its bags overnight. You're waking up to blue sky and silence. Soak that in.. Because it won't last long. Today is your breather. Step outside and you'll feel crisp, cold air with sunshine that actually feels earned. Southern New Hampshire climbs to 28 degrees this afternoon. Central towns hit 27. The White Mountains touch 28 around noon, then the thermometer nosedives. Tonight? Southern valleys drop to 6 degrees. Central New Hampshire matches that. And the mountains? A bone cold 2 degrees by dawn. Now here's where it gets interesting. A quick moving system sneaks in by 5 A.M. Wednesday. Light snow statewide. Southern New Hampshire picks up 1 to 3 inches. Central regions see 1 to 2. The mountains get a dusting, but the real wildcard is Wednesday evening. Snow squalls could fire up in western New Hampshire. Fast. Visibility goes to nothing. Another quick inch drops before the whole thing exits stage right. The week ahead tells a wild story. Wednesday and Thursday stay cold and unsettled. Thursday clears out briefly. Friday another weak system brushes past. But Saturday.. Saturday is the plot twist. Highs vault into the mid 40s everywhere. We're talking 46 degrees in the mountains. 47 in the valleys. February pretending it's April. Don't get too cozy though. Sunday night slams the door shut. Lows crash back to single digits up north. So today, enjoy the calm. Tomorrow morning, give yourself extra time on the roads. That early snow will make the commute slippery before the plows catch up. If this podcast helps you plan your week, a quick review really does make a difference. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. Take care!
