Good evening. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz.
What a wild turnaround. We dropped to 20 degrees overnight, but step outside right now and you'll feel 55 degrees on your skin. That's a massive 35-degree swing since dawn. Yesterday gave us just over an inch of snow. Today? Not a cloud in sight.
In the next 24 hours. Southern New Hampshire sits at 51 degrees this afternoon under brilliant sunshine. Central New Hampshire matches that warmth at 51. Head up to the White Mountains and you'll still find a very pleasant 50 degrees. Not much wind anywhere. Just a still, sunny March day.
But enjoy it. Because tonight the bottom drops out. Clear skies and calm winds let the heat escape fast. Southern New Hampshire falls to 22 degrees. Central areas dip to 21. The mountains hold at 24. That full moon tonight will be shining through partly cloudy skies, but you'll want a heavy coat if you're stepping out.
Thursday starts dry with increasing clouds. Highs reach the mid-40s, then temperatures slide through the afternoon. The real story arrives Thursday night. A Winter Weather Advisory kicks in at 7 P.M. For Cheshire and Hillsborough counties. Snow, sleet, maybe a glaze of ice — 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible. Friday morning's commute could be slick, especially on untreated roads.
Soak up today's sunshine. We've got a one-day reprieve between yesterday's snow and Thursday night's wintry mix. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves.
That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
