Good afternoon. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz. You’re looking at a classic gray start, but don't let that fool you. We're sitting at 41 degrees under overcast skies, with a light south wind nudging the thermometer upward. The sun rose at 6:13 this morning. And we're gaining nearly three minutes of daylight every single day. The real story kicks in tonight. A warm front slides in, bringing rain that arrives late—closer to 8 PM in the White Mountains. And around 11 PM for southern areas. But here’s the wild part: temperatures actually *rise* overnight. Southern New Hampshire dips to 42, then climbs to 47 by sunrise. The White Mountains pull a similar trick, hitting 40 before warming to 47. That's 17 degrees above normal for early March. Let's take a trip around the state. Southern New Hampshire sees highs near 44 today, with rain likely after midnight. But Sunday? That hits 57 degrees. You'll feel gusts to 25 miles an hour by afternoon. Moving north to Central New Hampshire, you're slightly warmer today at 46, with rain chances peaking overnight. Sunday hits 56 there, before winds shift west and kick up to 15 miles an hour. Up in the White Mountains, you start at 45 with rain moving in by 8 PM. Sunday's high of 57 feels almost summery before reality hits—a sharp drop to 29 overnight. Looking ahead, this is a false spring tease. Monday and Tuesday bring the 60s statewide. Soak it up. By Thursday, a cold front sweeps through, crashing highs back into the 40s and bringing a messy mix of rain and snow. The White Mountains could see a 30-degree swing in just 24 hours. Enjoy the warmth while you can. See you tomorrow.
