Show Notes

Good morning. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, that cold front yesterday rolled out the red carpet for some serious Canadian air. Step outside right now and you'll feel it immediately. We bottomed out at 8 degrees overnight. Wind chills? MinU S One across the south. Drive up toward the White Mountains and it feels like minus 5. That's the kind of cold that makes your nostrils stick together. In the next 24 hours. The good news. Gorgeous sunshine all day. Wall to wall blue. Temps climb to the upper 20s by early afternoon statewide. Still cold, but that sun on your face? Medicine. Tonight the skies stay clear. Lows slide back to single digits through the central valleys. Southern New Hampshire holds around 11 degrees. The mountains dip to minus S One. Your car won't be happy at dawn. Now Tuesday is where the plot thickens. High pressure slides offshore and southerly winds drag warmer air back in. Highs jump near 40 degrees. Feels like a different planet. but low pressure sneaks in from the west. Snow spreads across southern and central zones by late afternoon. Wet and slushy at first, then sticking after sunset as temps crash back to the 20s. Figure 1 to 3 inches for most of us. The mountains could see closer to 3. Wednesday. The twist. Temps surge near 50 degrees. Sunshine returns. You might actually unzip your jacket. Don't get comfortable though. Another system takes aim Friday. This one looks messy. Snow, sleet, freezing rain all on the table. We're tracking it closely. So the week plays out like this. Deep freeze today and tonight. Snow sneaks in Tuesday evening. Wednesday feels like spring crashed the party. Then late week gets complicated again. Charge that phone before bed tonight. Cold batteries are dead batteries. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
