On this emergency episode I brought on Bridget Rivera @travelingNun) to talk about the recent Lil Nas X controversy and the Evangelical Church’s reaction to it. Bridget is a Christian a lesbian and is currently PHD’ing (stole from her bio). She has served as a committee member for Revoice and worked with other faith-based organizations such as Christians for Social Action and the Center for Faith, Sexuality, and Gender. Bridget also has a book coming out called Heavy Burden 7 Ways LGBTQ Christians Experience Harm in the Church. It’s now available for pre-order
