Dr. Andrew Whitehead, sociologist, scholar and author of the new book, American Idolatry: How Christian Nationalism Betrays the Gospel and Threatens the Church, sits down with Tim to discuss his book. Dr. Whitehead gives some background about himself and his research. He and Tim discuss the reason he wrote his new book about Christian Nationalism. Tim and Dr. Whitehead discuss different aspects of Christian Nationalism, like racism and the considerable amount of power white Evangelicals have, in the movement.
