Strong winds are creating hazardous conditions on Nevada's major lakes today, with Lake Wind Advisory alerts posted for both Lake Tahoe and Pyramid Lake. Southwest winds at Tahoe will gust to 30 miles per hour, while Pyramid Lake faces even stronger west winds creating waves up to 3 feet. This morning starts mild at 64 degrees, perfect for that early jog or dog walk.
