Jared and Nick watched Paul Verhoeven's seminal '80s action flick "Robocop" to trace the subversive political statements throughout the film. Set in the Reagan era, Robocop was incredibly prescient as it predicted the militarization and privatization of our police forces, while capturing the evil corporate ethos that has been super charged in the subsequent decades.
