When you live for yourself, your irresponsibility becomes someone else’s responsibility. When you live irresponsibly as a Christian, you live as a hypocrite. In 1 John 2:6, Jesus says that those who claim to follow him should live as he lives. It’s a challenging message, but still the one we are called to as Christians.
