A woman in her 40s has been charged with grievous bodily harm after allegedly entering Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney after midnight and attacking a man in his 60s with a hammer. The victim, who is known to the woman through a family relationship, is in critical condition in the intensive care unit. The woman was arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station, with an AVO issued for the victim's protection.
