Kat Leonardo is a Sydney-based crochet artist who has transformed the traditional craft into high-fashion pieces, with her work featured at London Fashion Week. Starting in 2022 during lockdown, she creates elaborate pieces including aquatic headpieces, crocheted parasols, and custom fashion week ensembles that take anywhere from hours to weeks to complete. Her work draws inspiration from anime, popular culture, cosplaying, and drag queens, earning her a massive online following.
