Australian stuntwoman, adventurer and author Kai Forno served as the survival consultant on the production, teaching McAdams authentic survival skills including bamboo fire-making and flint blade creation. The film, shot in Australia, combines horror and dark comedy as it follows characters stranded in a survival situation.
