Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced a major fuel supply deal between the federal government, Ampol and Viva Energy to import fuel from new international sources. The agreement, made through Export Finance Australia, will allow the government to direct additional fuel supplies to regional Australia and areas experiencing supply pressures. Albanese made the announcement at the Lytton Ampol refinery in Brisbane before departing for Singapore to secure further supply arrangements.
