Show Notes

More than 1.1 million Australians are living with an eating disorder, with more people dying each year from these conditions than the national road toll. Mark Forbes and his wife Gay founded EndEd 11 years ago after two of their daughters developed eating disorders, recently opening the House of Hope on the Sunshine Coast—a first-of-its-kind residential facility providing an intermediate care option between hospital and rehabilitation. Olympian Lisa Curry, who lost her daughter Jamie Lee six years ago, supports the facility which includes accommodation, wellness spaces, and a village of eight tiny homes built in partnership with ESUAV to help individuals and families navigate eating disorder recovery.
