In today’s news: the Triangle is expecting a major spring storm this afternoon, with extremely high winds the biggest threat. Also: Earl McKee officially calls for a recount (which will take place Wednesday) in the primary for a seat on the Orange County Board of Commissioners; three local government boards are set to meet tonight, with budgets topping the agendas; and a UNC agency helps students know where they can turn if they feel threatened or endangered. And in sports: the NCAA tournament brackets are out, with the Tar Heel men seeded sixth and facing VCU in round one, and the Tar Heel women seeded fourth and hosting Western Illinois.
