If you are like 100% of the parents I know, 😉, your kids' relationship with screens causes you some amount of stress (and likely a good amount!) This is a difficult issue and one we might feel we will never catch up on. (and we're right.)
Arlene Pellicane is a great help on this topic! She has done a lot of research and written a number of books to support parents raising kids in this screen-driven world. Two of her books were co-written with Gary Chapman (of the 5-Love Languages!) and in today’s conversation we are touching on some of the most practical and helpful topics they share!
Arlene and I talk about the decision of whether or not to give a child a smart phone, (Arlene has a great solution to that one!) time limits on screens for kids, and how we can set better examples as parents in our own relationship to screens! I think you’ll find this conversation super practical and encouraging!
