Gen Z is proving to be a pain in the workplace.

Overseas employers say they’re a nightmare to hire, they can barely get through an interview, are unwilling to pick up the phone, and have even ghosted companies completely on the first day of their jobs.

Meanwhile, Gen Z say they’re struggling with managers who don’t understand their slang.

Sharon Davies, Managing Director of Talent Propeller, told Mike Hosking that every generation brings with them a wave of changes.

She said that Gen Z’s expectation is that their work fits around their life, which is a fundamental change to anything that’s been seen before.
