Show Notes

The Justice Minister's dismissing suggestions there's an issue within the Ministerial Advisory Group for victims of retail crime amid resignations.

Three of the five members have resigned in recent weeks including Michael Bell, Lindsay Rowles, and Retail NZ Chief Executive Carolyn Young.

Young says her relationship with its chairman Sunny Kaushal became untenable.

Kaushal's refused an interview but says it's well known himself and Young have different views on the group's recommendations.

Justice Minister Paul Goldsmith told Mike Hosking it's a total beat-up.

He says the group's been very productive with two of the five promoted into higher jobs, with one member not happy.
