Show Notes

It has been a busy week for US President Donald Trump, who is only a fortnight into his second term.

Tariffs are on the way for Canada, Mexico and China, off the back a major plane crash in Washington D.C., and an ISIS project in Somalia.

Former New Zealand Trade Negotiator Charles Finny said the new tariffs are more extreme than those during Trump's first presidency.

"He's undercutting his legal basis for justification for for these for these tariffs, and it's very worrying indeed."
