In this suspenseful story, Melissa finds herself in a dire housing situation after her roommate's drug bust and subsequent eviction. She stumbles upon a rural rental, a converted barn owned by a sweet-sounding old man named Eli. However, strange occurrences soon unsettle her. The creaking floors and echoing footsteps make her suspect someone is living on the second floor, even though Eli denies it. Desperate for answers, Melissa investigates and discovers an empty and locked bedroom, but when she calls Eli to inquire, he reveals that she was seen on the roof stomping around.
